This nourishing lip balm is developed from coconut oil and enriched with a mix of vegetable oils, butters and waxes that help protect your lips from drying out. Coconut oil has a moisturizing effect on your lips. It combines the moisturizing properties of coconut oil with the nourishing properties of shea butter and beeswax. The lip balm is vegan so no beeswax has been used. Candelilla wax is a little harder than beeswax, but softer and can be perfectly used as a plant-based (vegan) replacement for beeswax. Another wax that is odorless is Oryza Sativa Cera. This is obtained from rice bran. It works as a skin softener, especially for dry lips.
 
The lip balm also contains SPF 25 that protects the lips against UVA and UVB rays. The lip balm nourishes, hydrates and softens the lips. Did you know that some lip balms contain additives such as synthetic dyes made from coal tar, paraffin for moisture retention, and artificial waxes?
